Project History

The Inova Student Athlete's CD-ROM was developed through a joint effort of on-line clinical content leader Greystone.net and Atlanta based design firm AVID Design. As Creative Director and Project Manager for AVID design Jay Kelly oversaw design and development of this project.

Part of a system wide compaign to promote it's Sports Medicine Program, Inova Health Systems partnered with Washington D.C. area schools and organizations to create this interactive piece. The Student Athletes' CD-ROM features animation, music, video and animated text directing studet athletes and their parents to on-line information located on the Inova Health System's website. A physician list of Inova System Doctors and links to on-line scheduling enables parents and students to locate the services and treatment they need.

Videos featuring physicians, trainers, coaches and health professionals inform parents and students about common sports injuries and treatment, as well as the latest technology used in treatment and prevention.

Inova Health Systems is also able to track ROI with trackable links used throughout the CD-ROM.
